The heated pool was the biggest attraction for my kids. Even though the air temp was chilly, the pool really was warm, even for my young cardiac child. The park had a lot of things to do to keep the kids busy. They loved tie-dyeing t-shirts. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The movie area was really big and always played kid friendly movies. The store was well stocked and reasonably priced. They will even deliver pizza to your site. The bathrooms and showers are cleaned once a day and were always clean when we used them. The laundry facility was also clean and very large. We had no power problems and the water pressure was great. We also used the Wi-Fi and had no issues with it. The reasons for dropping two points are: The sites are very narrow for our 31ft class C with one slide out and an awning. We sat at our fire ring right next to the sewer hook-up of our neighbor and I kept the fire very small because we were so close to our trailer. There are also no grills at each site. Other than those two minor issues the place is great. We will be staying here again.
This is a nice clean campground. They have a ton of things to do for the kids. The pool is always clean and they have a lifeguard on duty. They also have several playgrounds to choose from. My kids always have something to keep them busy. My only complaint is that I had to pay extra for my three kids.
By far the worst place I have ever stayed. I have been camping all over the country for over 15 years and this is the worst. The owners are extremely rude and could care less about you. The campground is not secure. It is open on both ends so traffic drives right through the campground. The facility is extremely run down. The pipe for the sewer hook-up stuck up 8 inches off the ground so trying to drain your tanks is a tough task and there is no screw-in connector. The bathhouse only had one light working the entire time and they were not the cleanest restrooms. The pool was dirty and was starting to turn green and had a layer of bugs on it. They also kept it locked up and you have to call to get in. The playground is old and small and had many broken parts and was a safety hazard. The nature path goes for about 100 feet and dead ends in the woods. The horse shoe pit was over grown with weeds. The campground has mostly seasonal campers staying in old run down trailers and mobile homes. The rates do not match the facility or the amenities. I will never stay here again.
I went with my kids and they had fun playing in the woods all around the campsites. The sites are not very large but they are level. The restrooms were also always very clean. We hiked down to the river and played in it for some fun and did some Geocaching while we were there. There are only two small playgrounds on site so besides those and the woods there is not much else for small kids to do.
